INDIANAPOLIS - Northern Kentucky University's Stephanie Isaacs was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference women's tennis co-Freshman of the Year.

Isaacs, a graduate of Waynesville (Ohio) High School, posted a singles record of 14-2 playing primarily as the No. 1 and teamed with Emily Okerson to finish with a 13-3 doubles mark. Isaacs was 4-1 in singles competition against GLVC opponents.

Isaacs is the second Norse in five years to capture the Freshman of the Year award. In 2003, Becky Dister earned the honor for NKU.

The Norse finished their season 5-10 overall and 1-4 in GLVC play.
